Latest security in 2012 Sabelt backets
The Italian firm has filed for 2012 Sabelt two important developments within the line of racing seats FIA, the GT 300 and GT200 model.
Both models incorporate a cataraterizan structural element that introduces a new concept as far as security is concerned.
It is a kind of girdle or belt of carbon fiber embedded in the fiberglass chassis, which adds rigidity to cojunto, protects much better side impact and reinforces particular areas that may be more exposed to injury, spine, pelvis and shoulders, is what is known as HCF (Hybrid Carbon Frame).
The introduction of these new structures in the race seats FIA represents a breakthrough in protecting the pilot, as it represents an intermediate step between traditional fiberglass seats and super carbon fiber seats FIA approved for the fields above 8862 as the WRC.
These new models are very close to the security provided by the FIA 8862-2009, which are genuine cell survival, but with a much lower cost than what cuestasn latter.
Another important news is that these models incorporate a double harness slot for passing on two levels, to better regulate harnesses depending on the size of the pilot. If the pilot is higher then the harnesses pass through the upper holes for added security in case of a rollover, the weight will hold the seat and not the shoulders of the pilot.
Another feature of these new seats are brought into the perforations lumbar areas, extreme weather conditions affect drivers and these holes are designed to encourage ventilation of the area of the pilot's back.
In the future you can implement a forced air system Sabelt being designed to mount on these models.
The GT300 model is designed specifically for cars and model circuit for Oches GT200 rally, both manufactured in four different sizes, M, L, XL and XXL, maximum versatility for all the needs of pilots, and both models are manufactured in black color fabric and red.
